Helicore bass strings are available in Orchestral, Solo, Hybrids, and Pizzicato. Each one is designed with specific uses in mind. The Orchestral line has an excellent bow response and a warm sound. The Solo line is similar to the Orchestral line, except it’s tuned one whole step higher. The Hybrid line has a good sustain for plucking, yet maintains a reasonable response when bowing, and is great for both. The Pizzicato line has a long sustain and a “growl” for pizzicato.
