Carl Klepacki holds music degrees from Triton College: A.A., The University of Illinois at Urbana: B.M., The University of Wisconsin Madison: M.M., and a Music K-12 teaching degree from Northeastern Illinois University. Mr. Klepacki has been teaching K-12 music and band in Chicago and suburban public and parochial schools for more than fifteen years. His teachers have included Richard Davis, Les Thimmig, Stephen Dembski, Stanley Davis, Joe Daley, Scott Wyatt, Ray Sasaki, Morgan Powell, Paul Zonn, Herbert Brun and Salvatore Martirano. He has attended seminars and master classes with Gunther Schuller, Thea Musgrave, Samuel Adler, Jamey Aebersold, John Cage and others. Carl Klepacki is an accomplished saxophonist/multi-instrumentalist performer, music teacher, and composer/arranger. As a local professional musician since his early teens, he has performed and recorded as a soloist, as a member of top 40 bands, jazz and rock combos, big bands/dance bands, show bands and pit orchestras. He has performed for dignitaries, members of government and for celebrities. He's performed at the Chicago Cultural Center, Great America in Gurnee, The South Shore C.C., The Chicago Yacht Club, The Palmer House Hotel, The Marriott downtown as well as at many social events, concerts, festivals and on live radio.
